Obituary for Anna Margarite Osterhout

Anna Margarite Williard Little Osterhout, aka 'Moe', 94, of Higden, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born October 25, 1928, in West Bloomfield, Michigan to the late James Williard and Myrtle Wilson Williard.

Anna was a very talented lady with a heart full of love. Everyone she knew adopted her, she was mom or grandma to them. All that knew her loved her. Anna and her husband Kenneth A. Osterhout were married in Orchard Lake, Michigan on November 1, 1952. Kenneth passed away in 1994, but Anna stayed strong and devoted with her family by her side.

She worked as an RN for over 50 years loving, caring, and dedicated to her patients and friends. Anna was a charter member of Sugar Loaf Baptist Church in Higden, Arkansas. She was also an avid square dancer for over 30 years. Anna danced at the Sugar Loaf Dance Hall in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was also a fantastic two-stepping and waltzing master at the Sugar Loaf Folklore Center in Heber Springs, Arkansas. There wasn’t anything that she couldn’t do. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, her parents, all of her brothers, sisters, and many nieces, and nephews.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her daughters; Theresa Tubbs of Higden, Arkansas, Sally (Herb) Lewis of Edmore, Michigan, Sharon Garcia of Utica, Michigan, son, John (Karen) Osterhout of Wyandotte, Michigan, grandchildren; Lindsey (Ryan) Bartell, Daney Osterhout, Angela Terrell, Jimmy (Kayla) Tubbs, Christina Tubbs, Anthony Workman, great-grandchildren; Hatteigh Jo Tubbs, Sydneigh Tubbs, Bryleigh Tubbs, Mayceigh Tubbs, Antonio Lovelace, Alycia Terrell, Weston Amos, Bradley Amos, great-great-grandson, Antonio Lovelace, Luke Bartel, many, many, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of family.

A service will be held at the Sugar Loaf Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Brown officiating at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 19, 2023.
