Obituary for Barbara A. Moran

Barbara Ann Moran, 70, of Dennard, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2022. Barbara was born in England, Arkansas on July 21, 1951, to the late Tommy Jones and Betty Jo Cox Jones of Marshall, Arkansas.

Barbara was raised in Humnoke, Arkansas, and graduated from Humnoke High School in 1969. One of her greatest blessings was being able to see all of her children and grandchildren come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated Christian and an adored wife to the late Bill Moran for 51 years. Barbara loved the Lord. Anytime people saw Barbara, they knew she was going to be talking about the Lord and inviting them to church. She was a soul winner. Barbara loved people. She was thoughtful and caring in a way like no other. She always put others before herself. She was always thinking of what she could do to make someone feel better. All of her kids and extra kids knew Grandma always had plenty of snacks. Barbara was a fighter. She fought her fight against cancer until the very end, claiming she needed to do more work for the Lord. To know Barbara was to love Barbara, and she will be terribly missed here on this Earth.

Barbara is survived by her mother Betty Jones, her children Penny (Matt) Standlee and Wesley (Kym) Moran, all of Dennard, Arkansas, grandchildren Austin (Kaitlin) Moran, Isaac Bramlett, Cole Moran, Ashton Moran, Corey (Cloe) Sledge, Mason Standlee, Billy Standlee, Reese Standlee, Clay Standlee, great-grandchildren Remington Moran, Wesley Moran, Creegen Sledge, Chaston Sledge, Keysley Sledge; sister Brenda Schuk (Mike) of Hernando, MS.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Moran, father Tommy Jones, son Billy James Moran, and brother Danny Jones.

Pallbearers are Corey Sledge, Austin Moran, Billy Standlee, Clay Standlee, Cole Moran, and Isaac Bramlett. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Moran, Ashton Moran, Matt Standlee, Mason Standlee, Jason Wooten, and Rodney Hannah.
