Obituary for Charles Ray Alcorn

Charles Ray Alcorn, 78, of Rose Bud passed away Saturday September 14, 2019. Born May 12, 1941 to the late Charles Norman and Velma Bland Alcorn in Midridge, Missouri, Charles was a retired truck driver and U. S. Air Force Veteran. Charles attended Pee Dee Baptist Church in Clinton and Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs. He was also an avid fisherman and golfer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Chappell Alcorn, of the home; children Sandra and husband Donald Ross of Silva , MO, Larry Alcorn, Pam Kiersz of Rolla, MO, Debbie Alcorn of Rose Bud; grandchildren Alicia and husband Brian Robbins, Danielle and husband Bryan Hall, Tyler and wife Shannon Kiersz, Kayce and husband Jimi Smith, Chris Kiersz, Alicia and husband Chris Schoebaugh, Ashley and husband Trevor Sullivan, Brandi Harris, and Ashley Albritton. His siblings Rhonda and husband Danny Purcell, Sharon Hunt, Brenda Triolo, Leroy and wife Anita Alcorn, Sheila and husband Floyd Pyle; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.
Charles is preceded in death by one grand daughter, Shirley Kay Alcorn.
Pallbearers will be Paul Johnson, Ibert Fancher, Wendell Lee Bradford, Scott Dunham, and Ken Hickman.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 17, 2019 at 2 pm at Pee Dee Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm with Brothers Kyle Blanton and Tony Criswell officiating. Burial will be Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 1 PM at Allen Cemetery in Raymondsville, MO.
