Charles Glenn Doughty, 76, of Perryville, AR passed away April 12, 2015 in Little Rock, AR. He was born December 24, 1938 to Luther and Ocel Williams Doughty in Houston, AR. Charles was active in the Masonic Lodge, Nimrod and Antioch Baptist Churches. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, studying the Bible and reciting poetry.
Charles is survived by his wife Rose Bird Miller Doughty, of the home; daughters Tammy(Larry Joe) Hall, Rita (Dennis) Langston, all of Bigelow; sons Ailton Doughty of Perryville and Doug (Tanya) Doughty of Bigelow; Stepson Anthony (Rhonda) Miller of Perryville. Charles is also survived by brothers Bill (Francine)Doughty, Darrell (Janice) Doughty, Nelson (Mary) Doughty; sisters Vida (Bill) Wright and Delores (Ken) Honeysuckle.
Charles is also survived by grandchildren Shane (Keri) Hall, Jody (Bobby) Watson, Joshua (Mandy) Langston, Matthew (Alicia) Langston, Billie Jean Doughty, Jessie (Heston) Highfill, and Jordan Doughty, as well as 8 Great-grandchildren, the mother of his children Betty Copeland Doughty of Houston, AR and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Ocel Doughty, stepson Carroll Miller, brother Norman Doughty and granddaughter Magen Langston.
