Chester Douglas Fisher, 84, of Clinton passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. Born May 17, 1935 in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late Chester Fisher, Sr. and Laura Mae Helm, Chester was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard. He served during the Little Rock Central High School Crisis. Chester was also a member of the Van Buren County Fair Board, Ozark Health Hospital Volunteer Program and was a lifelong Methodist.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda Emerson Fisher, of the home; children Doug Fisher, Danny Fisher, Mark Fisher, Nancy Garrido; stepchildren Charley Higgins and Marshall Jenkins; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Thomas Fisher.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2pm at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
