Clark Lewis  Taplin Jr.
Clark L. Taplin, Jr., 87, of Clinton, passed away September 9, 2015. Clark was born on December 23, 1927 to Clark L. Taplin, Sr. and Nellie Todd Taplin near Gravel Ridge in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 18 years, Ramona Taplin; a sister Jean Collister of Peoria, IL; a brother Carl Taplin of St. James Beach, FL; and a brother Lynn Taplin of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by a daughter Gale Crowne of New Buffalo, MI; a daughter Diane James of Los Angeles, CA; a son Clark L. Taplin, III, of Franklin, TN; a son Randall Taplin of Little Rock, AR; and a daughter Samantha Alexander of Romance, AR. Clark also had 7 step-children Kevin Summit and Kenny Summit of Little Rock, AR; William French of Clinton, AR; Laura French of Marco Island, FL; Cheryl Hitesman and Pam Jones of Albia, IA; and Richard French of Opelousas, LA who all loved him as a father. Clark was also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Dorothy "Jolie" Taplin.
A memorial service will be given by his step-son Richard French at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Clinton, AR on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 am.
