Obituary for Ervin "Buzz" May

Ervin "Buzz" May, 73, of Clinton, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Buzz was born May 26, 1944 in Mesa, Arizona to the late Rayburn and Laverne Payne May. Growing up, he was a rancher and cowboy. Buzz retired from the Arizona Public Service Electric Company as a Journeyman Lineman and Substation Electrician Foreman.
Buzz was a member of the Old Lexington Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon since May 22, 2011. He was also a private pilot, enjoyed woodworking, and playing music at the Jimmy Driftwood Barn on Friday nights.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Trish May, of the home: children Brandt and Cindy May of Flagstaff, AZ., Lestie and Jim Zachary of Horseshoe Bend, AR., Megan and Doug Lonnon of Lexington, AR.; grandchildren Jamie and Zach Johnson, Brian and Becca Zachary, Sara Zachary, Aeryka Lonnon, Breece May, Caycee Lonnon, Nate Lonnon, Caden May ; great grandchildren Lily, LB, Lincoln, and Eleanora Johnson, Jaxon Lonnon, Livi, Silas and Callan Zachary; siblings Dar May, David May, Freda Ganssle, Sherry May; many nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.
Buzz is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Justin Lonnon.
Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6-7pm at Clinton Funeral Service in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10am at the Old Lexington Baptist Church with Brother John Doyle and Brother Ester Bass officiating.
Pall Bearers are Brandt May, Caden May, Doug Lonnon, Nate Lonnon, Jim Zachary, Brian Zachary, Zach Ingram, Zach Johnson. Honorary Pall Bearers are Dar May and David May.
