Obituary for Eva Mae Johnson
Eva Mae Johnson, 84, of Dennard passed away March 11, 2017. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Eglantine, Arkansas, to Chester Linn and Mayme Bradford. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, and especially spoiling her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Karen Howard of Eglantine, Pat Barrow and husband Johnny of Dennard, Nan Fancher and husband Kendall of Virginia, daughter-in-law Lisa Behrends Johnson of Clinton , sister Carolyn Cowan of Gilbert, sister-in-law Calla Linn of Shirley; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years, William "Bill" Johnson, son Howell Johnson , and a brother, Willie Linn.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, at 1 p.m. at the Dennard Community Church. Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. John Swafford officiating. Burial will be in the Dennard cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, David Johnson, Jeremiah Howard, Jeremy Cunningham, Kenny Linn, and Joe Linn.
