Gary Norman Bonds, 73, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born November 18, 1944 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Naomi Clever Bonds. Gary was a Carpenter and Mill Wright at Schueck Steel Mill. He was a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church; he enjoyed cabinet making, wood working and reading.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Armitage Bonds, of the home; children, James Bonds of Clinton, Arkansas, Jennifer and husband Freha Dekhti of Park Hill, Oklahoma; grandchildren, C.J. (Charles) Waters, Lee Waters, Eva Waters, John Bonds, Daniel Jones; several nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Gary in preceded in death by his parents and one sibling, Larry Bonds.
Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2018 from 4'oclock to 6 o'clock pm at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, 10 o'clock am at the Old Lexington Baptist Church with Brother Charlie Deckelman officiating . Burial will follow at Holly Mountain Cemetery.
Pall bearers are Charles Waters, Brad Love, Eric Deckelman, Kevin Widener, Shane Widener, Matt Treadaway, and Brad Vaughn. Honorary Pall bearers are Dean Bonds, Lee Waters, Dean Strickland, Joe Robinson, Mike Treadaway, and Bob Crain.
