Obituary for Gary Massey
Gary Wayne Massey, 55, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 17, 2015. He was born April 18, 1960 in Grand Blanc, Michigan to Cleo E. and Marvell Opal McCoy Massey. He worked for Wal-Mart for 13 years as a greeter and enjoyed traveling.
Left to cherish Gary's memory are his sister Susan Massey of Mississippi; one brother Rich Massey of Quitman; niece Jenny Vocque, nephews James Kesterson and Thomas McMillan IV; special aunt and friend Lois Varnell Phillips and a host of other family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas McMillan.
Gary will lie in state Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Family Funeral Service Chapel in Heber Springs. There will be a private committal service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rose Bud, Arkansas.
Pall Bearers will be Danny Vorque and James Kesterson, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association.
