Obituary for Hubert Lee Harness
Hubert Lee Harness, 79, of Clinton passed away September 22, 2015. He was born October 1, 1935 in Jerome, AR to Vernon and Ethel Drye Harness, Sr. Hubert served in the National Guard, was a member of the Choctaw Church of Christ and owned Harness Auto Parts for several years in Little Rock.
Left to cherish Hubert's memory are his brother Wayne Harness of Harrison, sisters Margie Forbis of Clinton, Floye Brewer of Clinton and Jane Meyers of Clinton. He is also survived by sister-in-laws Ruth Gregg of Little Rock, Donna Reeves of Colorado Springs, CO, Freda Harness of Little Rock; brother-in-laws Joe Reeves of Colorado Springs, CO and Ed Meyers of Clinton, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Sue Reeves Harness, his parents and brother Vernon Harness, Jr.
Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Choctaw Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the Choctaw Church of Christ with Brother David Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery in Cleveland, AR.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Choctaw Food Bank at P.O. Box 25, Clinton, AR 72031.
