James Robert Hutson, 87, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019. He was born August 24, 1932 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Pete Hawkins Hutson and Bertie Driver. James served in the United States Navy and later retired after having served for 24 years and was also an elder at the Rabbit Ridge Church of Christ. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, woodworking and reading.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Zenda Hutson; children, James Darren Hutson (Treca) of Rabbit Ridge, Arkansas, Dr. Terry Lee Hutson (Kathy) of Glenwood, Arkansas, Susan Lowrance (Kim) of Clinton, Arkansas; siblings, Winnie Allen of Clinton, Arkansas, Mona Whitehead of Avon, Indiana, Larry R. Hutson of Fort Worth, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
James is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Pete Hutson and one brother, Richard Hutson.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the Culpepper Cemetery with Brother Burle Fortenberry officiating.
