Obituary for James Rowland Warford

James Rowland Warford, 89, of Clinton, Arkansas, departed from this world on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was born October 18, 1930 in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Theodore and Laura G. Watt Warford. James served in the United States Navy for 25 years as a chief mechanics mate; he later took a job with NASCO as a heat and air repairman. James always had a love for fishing and you usually could find him out on his boat fishing in the beautiful Greers Ferry Lake that he loved so much. He was a wonderful, loving, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and will be deeply missed by all.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Terri Lynn Nowlen, James Michael Warford; one brother, William M. Warford; grandchildren, Robert Todd Nowlen, Matthew Warford, Jennifer Warford, Chris Warford, Cara Dawson, Tiffany Roak; great- grandchildren, Malia, Blake, Andrew, Elizabeth, Cherokee, Gabriel, Jayden Dawson, Joshua, Paity, Mikah, Johnathan, Natalie, Gabriel; several nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Thodore and Laura Warford; wife, June Warford; one daughter, Teressa Dianne Warford; siblings, Helen Shellnut, Pansy Hersal, Lula Mae Pewees.

Pall Bearers are, Chris Warford, Doug Nowlen, Todd Nowlen, James Warford, Duane Mikel and Charles Fore.

Honoray Pall Bearers are, Chip Eakain and Jerry Davis.

Visitiation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Service. Services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Clinton Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.
