Jane Gray Hatfield, 83, of Fairfield Bay, AR, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born to the late Harry and Vara Gray, July 21, 1930, in Blairstown, MO. She is survived by her husband Lloyd “Gene” Hatfield, whom she met at the University of Kansas and later married in Topeka, KS in 1951. 
Jane was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and a member of the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and played the Handbells. Jane is survived by four children: Douglas Hatfield, Cabot, AR; Linda Tjernlund, Clinton, AR; Sandra (Larry) Mitsch, Gurnee, IL; Beverly Kelley, Lawrence, KS. Jane was preceded in death by son, Robert Hatfield. She also is survived by ten grandchildren and step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Jane adored her beloved dog, Buddy. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Fairfield Bay. An additional memorial service will be held at a later date in Valley Falls, KS.
