Jessie Viola Pruitt Harris, 90, of Fairfield Bay, formally of Morrilton, passed away Thursday December 8, 2016 at Ozark Health in Clinton.
Born March 20, 1926 in Solgohachia, Arkansas to the late John and Polly Casey Pruitt, Jessie was retired from Compton Mills and was a homemaker. Jessie was a member of the Harding Street Church of Christ in Morrilton. She enjoyed reading, painting and was a poet.
Left to cherish her memory are her children David Harris and wife Deborah of Fairfield Bay, Janice Gill of Morrilton, Rhonda Holder and husband Scott of Clinton, Murlene Rainey and husband Kenneth of Appleton; siblings John Pruitt and Mary Petty; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchild, great-great grandchildren, nieces nephews, other family and friends.
Jessie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dave "Red" Harris, and brothers Dwight Pruitt and Buck Pruitt.
Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday December 11, 2016 at Clinton Funeral Service in Clinton. Graveside services will be Monday December 12, 2016 at 2 pm at Robertsville Cemetery in Robertsville, Arkansas.
