The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jimmy Devous can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Alva party times

Back at Northwestern in 1965-1966 Jim and I were roomates, I have to say the party times almost ended my college days. I did however straighten up the next semester and graduated almost on time with summer school.

My wife Joanne and I were close to Jim and the Devous family in those college yearsand we kept in touch for a number of years until distance and time working along with other normal issues led us apart.  We reconnected a couple of years ago whcich we both enjoyed so much. We extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of Jim to his entire family.
