Uncle Johnny would always tell me I was his favorite niece with his big smile, not realizing at that time I was his only niece. All he had to say was "Tena you're my favorite niece" and I would do anything in the world for him, and he would run my legs off. I popped him tons of popcorn (one of his favorite foods) when I would go and stay with him and Brenda in Guy. Uncle Johnny was the first to teach me how to drive, we spent many hours driving on the dirt roads from his house in Guy to my Granny and Grandpaw Dowdy's house in Gravesville and had a BLAST! He would tell me the story of the day I was born and the story of my name "the dancing balllerina". He never missed a family function, you could always count on him being there. Johnny always kepted up with my kids Dustin and Ragen, he had his own name for them, he called them "Dusty" and "President Ragen". Uncle Johnny and I shared the same love for great recipes. I love to cook and he loved to eat. He had such a big heart and an unselfish heart, I loved him deeply. This world has truly lost a Great Man! My Family and I will miss him greatly. He will live on in my memories forever. Love you lots Uncle Johnny! Rest in Peace.
