Condolence From: Wes and Rachel Thompson
Condolence: Rachel and I were Jonas' youth pastors in the early 2000's at First Assembly in Clinton. I remember he was energetic, funny and full of life. I still have pictures of him in services and outside the church where he would be trying to make me laugh. He would practically fight someone to ride shotgun with me in the church van. I always saw so much potential in the daredevil that sat next to me and always vied for more attention. Whether it was bull riding, hunting or playing with paintball guns the boy knew how to have fun. I also remember spending time at the altar with him where he would pour out his heart for forgiveness and grace. Jesus loves Jonas and so did we. We still do. He is more than just a fond memory. He is a reminder of how to live life to the fullest. He was and is and always will be a blessing to those who remember him. God bless you. May the Lord bless and keep his family, may His face shine upon you and give you peace.... Because he is at peace.

Condolence: It is still so hard to wrap my head around all of this. What is this world coming too, when a person has so much hate in their heart that they would take a young man from his daughters. My heart breaks for your family. I have known this whole family for many years and our kids have grown up together. To see my friends hurt like this, is so difficult. Debbie, Jay, Steph, Nicki, Skyler you are all in my prayers.. Love always, Kim, Bub, Cager, Jared, Ronnie.
