The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Karen Bates can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Chris, Donnie and families,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and Dad was both very wonderful people. I knew them both from working at Davis Cash and if my memory is correct I actually first met your Dad at Shannon Supply and was a pleasure to help him there to and they was always so nice to talk to. They are together again and in no pain an I know they are very happy to be together and with God in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I don't have the words to express what a great lady your mother was.
Always smiling and encouraging to everyone she talked to. She had something encouraging to say to me every time I seen her. She will be missed by many, Jordan and Kendal just let God take control and He will get you through this.
God bless you all
He will get you through this to Stacy, I know how much you loved her and Joe.

Condolence: Aunt Wilodene, Donny, Chris and families.
My fond memories of growing up with Karen are to
many to list.
In the past few years, distance and poor health
have not allowed us to continue to visit.
I had so much respect for her in her health battles. She fought to be here for her family.
Now her fight is over and she is surely resting in the arms of God as He welcomed her home to join her husband and daddy.
I hope you find peace and comfort in the fine example of a Christian daughter and mother you had.
Your nephew and cousin, Jesse Bradford

Condolence: To the Bates family. My thoughts and prayers are for all of you at this difficult time. Karen was a sweet and wonderful person. I met her when I was going through Chemo 5 1/2 years ago. I was fortunate enough to see her in Walmart three weeks ago and we got to visit for a while. She was a fighter and now she is with Jesus and Joe and cancer free no more pain and suffering so please remember her as the wonderful person she was.

God called another angel home.
