Obituary for Larry Gene Crafton
Larry Gene Crafton, 74, of Morrilton, passed away September 2, 2017. He was born in Conway, Arkansas on June 1, 1943 to Farrel and Donya Paton Crafton. Larry served in the United States Navy and was in service during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and loved to go to flea markets. Larry enjoyed drawing, coloring and avidly read several newspapers daily.
Left to cherish Larry's memory are his wife, Delena Anne Conley Crafton of Morrilton; children William "Billy" Crafton and wife Melba of Conway, South Carolina, Shelia Myers and husband Bo of Mayflower, Arkansas and Johnny Crafton and wife Lanette of Hattieville, Arkansas. Larry is also survived by grandchildren Austin Crafton, Julia Crafton, Jeremy Moore, Jessica Moore, Chasity Crafton, Brandon Crafton, Kaitlyn Crafton and Aidan Crafton; 4 great-grandchildren, sister Bobbi Gray of Northwest Arkansas and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Farrel Crafton, mother Donya Paton Crafton and brother Billy Crafton.
Services will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Lanty Cemetery in Hattieville with Brother Jeff Russell and Brother Brandon Crafton officiating. Burial will follow.
