Laura Marie Hughes, 71, born Friday, September 15, 1950, to Jimmy and Jeannette Sheridan in Dekalb, Illinois, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Laura was of the Baptist faith and found great joy in serving the Lord. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family. She always had a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Jeannette Sheridan, and one great-grandchild.

Laura’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Richard Hughes, daughter Karen Hughes of the home, son, Brian Hughes (Wendy), grandchildren; Dakota Hughes (Ashley), Zack Hughes (Emily), Brittiny Hughes (Blake), great-grandchildren; Kensey Pruitt, Waylon Hughes, Kade Henson, Dalton Hughes, all of Clinton, Arkansas, many nieces and nephews from Missouri, and a host of friends.

Memorial service is 2:00pm, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Clinton, Arkansas.

Clinton Funeral Services has been given the honor to be entrusted with these arrangements.
