Obituary for Lawrence Charlton

Lawrence “Larry” Charlton (White Owl) of Clinton AR, peacefully went to be with his Lord, May 3, 2019, surrounded by family in Little Rock AR. He was born November 21, 1939 in Pasadena, CA to Irene Virginia Wingerd-Chandler and William Allen Charlton . Larry was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many. He had a caring heart, never met a stranger and made memories with everyone he came in contact with. He loved to read his bible and share The Word with those that would listen and even those that would not. Larry loved the Lord.
Left to cherish Larry’s memory are, his loving sister, Sheryl Chandler of Empire, CA and his daughter, Renee Charlton-Russell of Modesto, CA.

Stephanie Boley Lankford of Alread, Cookie Parish (Kenneth) of Morganton, Timothy Eshoo Boley (Kathy) of Taylor, MI, Ronda Lankford of Clinton, Ellie Lankford of Hot Springs, Sam Walley (Cindy) of Choctaw, Jacquelyn Lankford of Bee Branch, Jackie Lankford Jr. (Jodie) of Clinton. Grandchildren, and great children and; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Martha “Marty” Charlton, who died just 35 days prior; several family members and dear friends.
Celebration of life service will be held at a private family ceremony.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
