Obituary for Leona Marie Hill

Leona Marie Hill, 84, of Clinton passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 in Clinton. Leona was born December 1, 1930 in Plumerville, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Essie Pearl Isom Maxwell.
Before retirement Leona was a housekeeper. Her true joys in life were canning, gardening, quilting, and her membership in the Red Hat Society. She was also a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she attended as long as her health allowed her to. Leona was a joy to all who knew her and both mother and best friend to her daughter Linda.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Thomas and wife Lorie Hill of Clinton, David Ray Hill of Bee Branch, Linda and husband Jack Welborn of Clinton; three brothers and two sisters; Sixteen grandchildren; Eighteen great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Botkinburg Four Square Church with Brother Ester Bass officiating with burial in Bluffton Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
