Obituary for Linda June Wingfield

Print
Linda June Wingfield, 56, of Clinton, left us too early. After a valiant battle with liver disease and diabetes, she won the fight and joined the angels in Heaven on May 20, 2017.
Linda was born on December 21, 1960 in Clinton, Arkansas. Her life was filled with joy and the greatest highlights were the births of her son, William Huie of Clinton and her granddaughter Nikki Black of Russellville, Arkansas.
As a child, Linda loved to read and ride horses. Her career was in the customer service industry. She enjoyed meeting and talking to all people and flirting with the handsome men! After her health began to fail, Linda embraced her creative side and started painting. She would paint on an old piece of board or the skull of an animal! Linda was a rare individual, always having a bright and positive attitude. Toward the end of her life, it was amazing to be around Linda; even though her body was wracked with pain, she had a smile on her face. Linda was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul.
Missing Linda every day is her mother Willie Wilkinson of Clinton, AR; her son, William Huie of Clinton; her granddaughter, Nikki Black of Russellville; brother Donnie Wingfield and wife Debra of Center Ridge; brother Jess Wingfield and wife Lena of Clinton; brother Doug Wingfield and partner Philip Trusty of Dallas, TX; sister Lisa Lindsey and husband Rocky of Clinton; brother Gary Wilkinson and wife Lauren of Quitman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and ex-husbands.
Upon entering heaven, Linda had a joyous reunion with her father Don Wingfield, grandmother Etta Emerson, niece Piper Wilkinson and all the other family members and friends who preceded her.
A special thank you to Jess and Lena for providing loving care to Linda at the end of her earthly life.
