“Mom I am so grateful for the way we were raised. You were never afraid to be our mother. You put your foot down when it was needed and taught us right from wrong. You always let us know we had a Momma who cared about us and believed in us. You showed us unconditional love and you were always there for us, even when we didn’t deserve it. I will always hold you close to my heart, and I will always miss you.”
-Greif never ends, but it changes. It is a passage and not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith: it is the price of love.
