Obituary for Mark Melton Watson

Mark Melton Watson the son of Samuel Watson and Yvonne Melton Watson was born in Los Angeles, California on January 1, 1962 and passed away in Clinton, Arkansas on January 13, 2021 at the age of 59 years.

Mark was a member of the First United Methodist Church and worked as a salesman. Mark grew up in West Memphis, Arkansas and graduated from West Memphis High School and was a graduate of Christian Brothers University. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and scored the 4th largest buck in Buckmaster's History named The Watson Brothers Buck. Mark was a resident of Bee Branch, Arkansas and also owned a home in Horton, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his mother Yvonne Watson and his wife Melody Scott Watson. Survivors are his father Samuel Watson, 2 brothers, Rob Watson and wife Mary and Matt Watson and wife Susan. He is also survived by a special friend Kristy Rakestraw and friends Ric Cothren and Bruce Van-Epps. Also surviving Mark are his wife Melody’s parents Don Scott and Ellagene Scott of Branson, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life Service will be planned by the family at a later date.
