Martha "Marty" Ann Charlton, 80 of Clinton AR, peacefully went to be with her Lord, March 29, 2019, surrounded by family in Conway AR. She was born April 8, 1938 in Raytown, MO to Johnnie and Martha Burnes Walker. Marty was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She had a caring heart, never met a stranger and made memories with everyone she came in contact with. She loved to read her bible and share The Word with those that would listen and even those that would not. Marty loved the Lord.
Left to cherish Marty's memory are, her loving husband of 20 years Lawrence (Larry) Charlton of the home, her sister Nancy Moore of Eldorado Springs, MO, her brother John (Sonny) Lewis Walker of Eldorado Springs, MO, her children, Stephanie Boley Lankford of Alread, Cookie Parish (Kenneth) of Morganton, Timothy Eshoo Boley (Kathy) of Taylor, MI, Ronda Lankford of Clinton, Ellie Lankford of Hot Springs, Sam Walley (Cindy) of Choctaw, Jacquelyn Lankford of Bee Branch, Jackie Lankford Jr. (Jodie) of Clinton, 29 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Marty was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Kenneth (Mike) Boley, David Boley, Thurman (Sunny) Walley, 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Kimberly Walley, several family members and dear friends.
Celebration of life service will be held at Sardis Church, 4141 Hwy 124 East, Damascus, AR Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11:00 am.
Private family ceremony will be held on her birthday Monday, April 8, 2019.
