Obituary for Maxine Doris Masterson
Maxine Doris Masterson, 80, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was born in Knox, Indiana on Tuesday, October 27, 1942, to the late Floyd Edward Reed and Dovie Marie Troyer Reed.
Maxine originally called Indiana home, many years later she would move to Arkansas. She was a very precious lady, giving, loving, always happy, and smiling, with a great sense of humor. She was known for her homemade noodles as well as many other recipes. Sewing, crocheting, and crafting of any kind were hobbies Maxine enjoyed. She could read a whole book in one day. Maxine loved to clean and stay busy. If anyone ever wondered what a hard worker was like all they needed to do was meet Maxine. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She will greatly be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Dick, Bobby, Mark, Greg, Joe, and James, sisters; Sharon, Patricia, Phyllis, daughter-in-law, Deanna Masterson, and partner, Kenny Pliske.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her daughters; Tammy and husband Donald Knox, Tiffany and husband Jeffery Fitzgerald, Tim Masterson, Ray Masterson, brothers; David, Floyd, Jeff, sisters; Shirley, Shelia, grandchildren; Samantha, D.J., Donnie, Kelly, Kris, Jessica, Shonda, Madison, Klowey, Toby, Aubrey, many great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be having a private Celebration of Life.
