Obituary for Michael Lee Autry
On Sunday, June 7, 2020, Michael, a loving father of four, passed away at the age of 59.
Michael was born on March 5, 1961 in Clinton, Arkansas to Delmar Ray and Leah (Bratton) Autry Shows. After graduation from high school, he worked in carpentry, and had attended Petit Jean Vo tech for training in automotive mechanics. Afterwards, he settled on the residential construction and plumbing trades and was a master at his craft.
He is preceded in death by his father, Delmar; a brother, Alan and wife Wanda (Cannon) Autry.
Michael is survived by his ex-wife Angelina (Boden) Autry Sorber, and daughter, Amanda of Apple Valley, California; ex Stacy Collins, and daughters, Tasha and Amber Collins, all of Harrison, Arkansas; a son, Derek with ex Ann Gates of Dennard, Arkansas; his mother Leah, brother Steven and sisters Robin, all of Rosenburg, Texas, and Rhonda (Autry) Miller of Bonita, California. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A small private celebration of life was held by family and friends. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to ALS, cancer, or other charities of your choice.
