Michael Charles Brown, 69, of Higden, passed away December 7, 2019. He was born in Decatur, Illinois on September 19, 1950 to Charles and Beverly German Brown. Michael was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as a Master Electrician for Skippy’s. Michael loved his coffee, was very stubborn and sarcastic, loved to work and had the best heart and would help anyone.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his wife, Katina Brown, of the home, children Amy Brown and Michelle Johnston and husband John of Illinois; step-children Michael Crawford of Little Rock, Takoda Crawford of Higden, and Sandra Blair of Ft. Smith. Additional step-children Kelly Johnson, Buddy Funk, Barbie Sweat and Becky Rhoden. Michael is also survived by siblings Cheri Gilman and husband Bobby of Illinois, Joe Brown and wife Tina of Springhill, FL and Rhonda and husband Terry Dillow of Decatur, IL; 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stevye Brown and stepdaughter Sharon Alters.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Buddy Funk officiating.
