Condolence From: Patsy Cunningham
Condolence: This morning I awoke from a vivid dream of a large space like an empty auditorium, where I had been greeted (apparently after long absence) by Neville, with an old friend's hug. He left soon after, promising to return in due course. But - in the way of dreams - I awoke first. My first thought was "Thank you, Nev!" for allowing me the dream.

We were in the Co-op in Toronto at the same time, and Nev encouraged Grif Cunningham to date and later marry me. Nev was Grif's Best Man. The last time I saw him was shortly after the birth of my son Neill in 1963. I remember that Neill lay on a bed kicking his fat little legs, and Neville patted him and said: "I've always wanted one of these." I said "Well, it's not as if you don't know how it's done," and we laughed. I love knowing now that he did indeed have "one of these," a son of his own. He was a loved and respected friend, though all our lives unfolded half a world apart. I wish you best comfort and good lives.

A truly wonderful and precious gift of God's grace. My family and I pray the Lord will comfort you, Susan and Stuart, and bless you with His peace.
