Peter Albert Klinkhammer, 88, of Mountain View, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Born August 18, 1930 in Dalton, Illinois, to the late Albert Klinkhammer and Helen Scott Trussell. Peter was a Railroad Engineer for the Milwaukie Road Railroad and a Farrier. He had a love for horses, traveling, adventures, the railroad, telling stories, Mexican music and culture; he was one of the last true cowboys.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Stephen Klinkhammer of Mountain View, Dennis Klinkhammer of Rockford, Illinois, Phyllis Rygh of Beloit, Wisconsin, Sheryl Myers of Benoit, Mississippi, Jodi Klinkhammer of Mountain View; one sister; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and other family members.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith Klinkhammer; one son, Jon Klinkhammer.
