Obituary for Phyllis Ruth Berry

Phyllis Ruth Lemings Berry, age 67, of Clinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She was born in Crabtree, AR, on May 11, 1947, to the late Fillmore and Edna (Wilson) Lemings.
Phyllis was a lifelong member of Crabtree Foursquare Church, where she began teaching Sunday School at age 16. She was still a Sunday School teacher at the time of her departure. She often said that God had given her a hunger for His Word that was never satisfied.
Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, and Nana, who enjoyed spending time with her family and serving them any way she could. She was quite a woman of faith and a prayer warrior. She left a Godly heritage for her children and grandchildren, for which they will forever be blessed.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Darvil Lemings.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ray Berry; two sons, Terry Berry and wife Kay, of Shirley; Dennis Berry and wife Charlotte of Crabtree; daughter Sherry Holland and husband Gary of Damascus; four grandsons, Eddie Ragsdale and wife Laura of Shirley; Justin Holland and wife Mecca of Damascus; Matthew Berry and Joshua Berry of Crabtree; granddaughter Kristen Berry of Crabtree; two great-grandsons, Brady and Corey Ragsdale of Shirley; 3 brothers, Virgil Lemings and wife Joy of Crabtree; Woody Lemings and wife Helen, of Choctaw; Ronnie Lemings and wife Tammie of Greenbrier; numerous other family and friends.
Internment was at Crowell Mountain Cemetery on October 27, 2014. Serving as pallbearers were Virgil Lemings, Woody Lemings, Ronnie Lemings, Eddie Ragsdale, Matthew Berry, Justin Holland, Joshua Berry, and Tom Merrill.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 10:00 am at Crabtree Foursquare Church, lead by her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Gideon's.
