Ray served his country in the Army and worked a variety of jobs in construction and maintenance. He was artistic and enjoyed sketching and making unusual bird houses.
Ray is survived by a son, Kenneth, location unknown, a daughter, Shannon, location unknown, and siblings; David Robison, of Queen City, Texas, Brenda Isbell (Everett) of Clinton, Arkansas, Jane Mayberry (Mike) of Golden Valley, Arizona, John Robison (Lori) of Van Buren, Arkansas, James Barton, Jr., (Kris) of Jasper, Arkansas, and Jess Barton (Patsy) of Clinton, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father, James Barton, Sr., and brother, Jerry Robison.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.
