Obituary for Richard Cates
Richard Cates, 63, of Bee Branch, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019. Born May 26, 1955 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late Elbert Calvin and Roxianne Mary Lee Harmon Cates. Richard was a construction worker for FP Bivens Construction; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Scarlet Belonie of Clinton, Weldon Cates and Billy Cates, both of Bee Branch; siblings, Jimmy Cates, Danny Cates, Kent Cates, Jannette Cates, Joyce Stapleton, Sarah Remetch, Elizabeth Cates; grandchildren Glorya, Victorya, and Stone Belonie, all of Clinton; several nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Hulane Cates; siblings, Kenny Ray Cates and Bobby Brewer.
