Obituary for Richard Allen Willis

Richard Allen Willis, 60, on February 5, 2022, went on to a heavenly yard sale where every deal he ever passed up in this lifetime is waiting along with some other pretty amazing deals he never could have imagined. He was born October 18, 1961, in Orlando, Florida to Catherine Lester Spicer and the late Keith Willis.

One of the many special qualities that Richard had, was his love for making other people happy. He always was looking out for others. He made friends everywhere he went, whether it be yard sales, antique stores, flea markets, or thrift shops. Which is where he spent a lot of time, Richard loved to track down a bargain. He also enjoyed and was good at refinishing furniture and gambling. He worked for Oakley for many years and formed bonds there to last a lifetime. He has a place in the hearts of all that knew him, and he will be missed very much.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, brother, Steven Layne Willis, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Willis, and Mr. and Mrs. William Lester.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, daughters; Kerry Willis (Brandon Dicalogero), Kelli Duncan (Adam), their mother, Dawn Willis, stepdaughter, Crystal Cooley (Jared), grandchildren; Hudson Smith, Avery Duncan, Willow Duncan, Faith Cooley, Hope Cooley, Emma Cooley, Abigail Holland, sisters; Jill Debate, Jan Honeycutt, Aimee Munnerlyn, Heather Nichols, brother, Michael Willis, pets, Morty, Mittens, numerous other relatives, and many friends.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Clinton Funeral Service Chapel.
