Obituary for Robert Branscum

Robert Branscum Sr. of Greenbrier passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Baptist Health
Medical Center in Little Rock, Ar and gained the glorified body he was promised by his Lord Jesus Christ.
He was born in Marshall, Arkansas to Glenwood and Bethel Paxton Branscum on November, 17, 1955. He was a welder, and loved his time spent hunting rabbits with his beagles, and deer hunting on his brother’s farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Karen Alaniz.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Treva Branscum, one son Robert and his wife Kami of Greenbrier. The two true lights of his life grand children Jacob and Kati Grace Branscum of Greenbrier. A sister Lorna Beach and husband Buster of Clinton, brothers Luther and wife Janice, John and wife Kay of Leslie, brother-in-laws Johnny Alaniz of Rogers, Allen Bristol and wife Valari of Greenbrier. Father and mother-in-law Oscar and Diana Hensley of Conway.
Eleven nephews and nieces and seven great nephews and nieces and his Church family at Pleasant Valley Baptist church in Wooster. He also leaves so many other close friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Branscum, Brian Beach, Kyle Branscum, Cody Branscum, Ed Brown, Alan Carmichael. Honorary pallbearers Grace Branscum, Kemal Beach, Ronnie Mauldin, John McEuen, David Reynolds, Lynn Tubbs Bryan Bristol, Brandon Bristol, and Justin Miranda.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, from 6 to 8 pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Wooster. Services will be Wednesday, November 29 at 10 am at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox, and Dr. Virgil Porter officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Shady Grove.

Robert had some amazing caregivers during the last two years as his health declined, Conway Dialysis, Davita Dialysis, Greenbrier Family Clinic, Central Arkansas Heart Clinic, and finally the RN’s and Drs. of the SICU at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock who were with him in the end.
