It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Dee Bolden announces his passing on December 26, 2018. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dawn of 10 years and his children, Dena Bynum (Brian), Kendra Caines (Matthew), First Class Petty Officer James Bolden (Mizuho), Tara Shannon (Sam III), Jennifer Hennessee (Aaron), Joshua Stanger, Crystal Bramlett (Cody), Natasha Swartz (Brandon), and Samantha Birdwell (Tyler). Roger will also be missed greatly by his 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a new one on the way.
He is also survived by his mother Nina Jean Eubanks, his step father, Wilson Ray Eubanks, his sisters Judy Duncan (Joe), Karen Bolden, Patty Anthony (Billy), Joann Spence, and Kenny Eubanks. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Johnie Jerry Bolden, step mother Penny Laverta Bolden, brothers, Dennis Bolden, Steven Bolden, Stevie Eubanks, and sister Sandy Madison.
Roger had a love for life, family and the outdoors. Fishing, road tripping, and flea marketing with his wife were some of the things he enjoyed the most. The grandkids, though, were his most prized possessions. Anytime he got to pick on them he was in his zone. He loved to visit with anyone and run the roads of Clinton daily. If you didn’t find him down at the salon, you could find him at Larry’s car lot, at Joey Lee’s lot looking for something to get into or bossing Ray around at a project site.
Pall Bearers are, Josh Stanger, Sam Shannon III, Aaron Hennessee, Brian Bynum, Matthew Caines, Johnny Bolden, Travis Bolden, Zach Webster.
Honorary Pall Bearers are, Olas Allen, Jay Cullum, James Bolden, Shane Widner.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2018, 1pm, with services following at 2pm at the Choctaw Church of Christ, with Brother Dennis Berry officiating. Burial will follow at the Clinton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Gideons International.

Dawn and family so sorry I couldn’t be there today but my thoughts and prayers have been with all of you. Roger was the best cousin you could ask for—he was always willing to help do anything and expected nothing in return. He will be missed by so many—he touched a lot of life’s and those that he touched are better because of him. He loved his family and was so proud of everyone. We will all miss him but hold on to the memories and you will see him again one day and oh what stories he will have to tell you May God comfort you in the days ahead. Love and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Roger from seeing him at Dawn’s shop. He was so good with his grandkids and always attentive to Dawn. I remember how he always asked if she needed anything he could bring her. He seemed to have such a kind heart. Prayers for you all.
