Obituary for Ronald Dean Sikes

Ronald Dean Sikes, 78, of Clinton, Arkansas, went to sleep with his wife by his side Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born March 14, 1944, in El Reno, Oklahoma to the late John Ira Sikes and Barbara Callahan Sikes.

Ronald and Deneice were married in 2011 in Clinton, Arkansas. He kept a smile on her face, always. He just loved to pull anyone’s legs he had a chance to. He was a character always cutting up and causing laughter. He loved his family dearly. His boys and his grandchildren meant the world to him. Well, everyone’s kids really, Ronald was tender-hearted along with the rest of his many great characteristics. He will be missed terribly by family, friends, and all who knew him.

Ronald retired from the United States Navy after spending many years serving his country. One thing he always said was his true love was working and fixing up old cars, he had a knack for it. He not only loved working on old cars, but he was also a wheeler and dealer. He could talk you into whatever he thought you needed. Ronald was a very talented woodworker. One of the latest projects he was building, in his thoughts, was a set of cabinets.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, son, Bryan Sikes, sister, Linda Kaye Bagley, and brother, Darrill Sikes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deniece Sikes, Son Michael (Mary) Sikes, Bryan (Loretta) Collins, Royce (Audrea) Collins, Heith (Angie) Collins, grandchildren; Heather, Nicole, Cassie, Matthew, Christina, Lane, Brooke, Hannah, Destiny, Savannah, Braeton, Sarah, Anna Claire, Braley, great-grandchildren; Aubrey, Hayden, and many more great-grandchildren, sisters; Debbie (James) Thomas, Betty (Johnny) Wilson, brother-in-law, Jerry Bagley, family, and friends.

The family would like to honor and give a special thanks to the Hospice nurses, Christina and Geri. Your attention and care were greatly appreciated, and are dedicated and devoted to your patients.

Clinton Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
