Dad once told me of a story when he was younger. He was riding his old dirtbike around an area of little rock where a new road was being built. That road is now I-630 today... The road was under construction and as such had several pieces of heavy equipment parked about. As he was looking around he found that one of the large earth movers had keys left in it... As you can imagine, he decided to take it for a spin. It had rained the night before and the dirt road was fairly muddy. He said he quickly found out that he could get the huge thing up to speed, turn very sharp, and get it to slide all the way around. He said he ran it back and forth sliding it around for over an hour. Then he said he did the nice thing and put it back where I found it. Of course after that story, as a little kid I dreamed and hoped that I would be able to find a piece of equipment and do the same thing when I was older.
