Obituary for Tammie Jo Benson (Jones)
Tammie Jo Benson, 52, of Shirley, passed away September 29, 2015. She was born March 20, 1963 in Elgin, IL to Lawson and Jane Chism Jones. She attended Maranatha Assembly of God, enjoyed watching cooking shows, crafting, drawing, and fishing. Tammie loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and eating cereal late at night.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jason Spencer of FL, Jeffrey and wife Melissa Spencer of IL and Johnny Spencer of Shirley, AR; daughter Kristy Spencer of Shirley, AR.
Tammie is also survived by her mother Jane Jones ; brothers Bobby Jones of Shirley, Rodney Jones of Shirley, Robby Jones of Shirley, Shannon Jones of FL.,and Shane Jones of Elgin, IL,; sisters Sherry Jones of Shirley, Teresa Jones of Shirley; 9 grandchildren and longtime friend A.J. Benson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Tammie was preceded in death by her father, Lawson Jones and brother Ronald Jones.
