Obituary for Troy Lee Treat
Troy Lee Treat, 73, of Clinton, Arkansas, went home to his Lord and Savior June 11, 2018 at his home. He was born in Searcy County on August 18, 1944 to the late Cecil and Ester Kimbrell Treat. He spent most of his growing up in California, working in cotton and potato fields. Troy and his family moved back to Leslie with his family in 1987. He went to work at the Flintrock Shirt Company; where he me his wife, Donna Harris Treat of 25 years; after that he worked at the Searcy County Jail. Troy was a member of the Leslie Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed visiting at the senior center, playing bingo, dominos and loved his family and church family.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Donna Treat; children, Carl and wife Pam Treat of Dermott, Arkansas, Sheila Carlton of Taft, California, Crystal and husband Alan Baguley of Dennard, Arkansas, Kayla Catlett and David Johnson of Booneville, Arkansas; siblings, Shirley and husband John Siler of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Carlin Treat of Maricopa, California, Harlin and wife Ora Treat of Indianan, Regina Nelson of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren, Cori and husband Stephen Drye of Rison, Arkansas, Jeffrey and husband Jack of West Monroe, Louisiana, Brandon and wife Courtney Carlton of Taft, California, Stephanie and husband Daniel of Taft, California, Braden Presnull of Clinton, Arkansas, Gavin Presnull, Kursten Presnull, Morgan Hall, Olivia Baguley of Dennard; great grandchildren, Haley Boyd, Lesley and Travis Drye of Rison, Arkansas, Weston and Kyndall Newkuk, Ethan and Tristan Carlton of Taft, California.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Violet Barton, Teresa Looper, Carlyn Silor, Barbara Treat, Esther Kimbrell Treat, Cecil Treat, Leta Mae Treat, James Alvin Treat; 2 infant sons, Johnny Harlin Treat and Cecil Allen Treat
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 11am, at the Leslie Assembly of God with Brother Cairl Baysinger officiating the service.
