Velma Frances Jackson, 76 of Mountain View, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. She was born December 9, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Charles and Naomi Presley Sherley. Velma was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed her collections, watching old movies and board games.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Linda Jackson, Jeannie Cody, Patricia Cody, Wanda Terry, Melissa Buchholz, Marsha Jackson; siblings, Rosie Roe, Geraldine Holliday, Debbie Hayworth, Eddie Sherley; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Velma is preceded in death by her parents; children, Debbie Jackson, Paul Jackson Jr; siblings, Albert Sherley, Charlie Sherley; great grand-children, Billy Terry III, Braylee Clark.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
