Verl Edward Jackson, 78, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. Born April 5, 1940, in Crabtree, Arkansas, to the late Otto and Oma Jackson, Verl was a retired truck driver and United States Navy Veteran. Even after retiring, Verl still loved truck driving. He also enjoyed working in his yard and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Pamela Stane and husband Donnie of Morrilton, Verla Ross and husband Dean of Conway, Billy Joe Donatelli of Redfield; Four half-brothers; one half-sister. Verl is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren; dear friend Betty Harris; along with several nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Betty Meadows Jackson, parents, and three half-brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 5 to 7pm at his residence located at 9805 Hwy 16W Clinton, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be Thursday January 3, 2019 at 12 pm at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Brother Dennis Berry officiating.
