Obituary for Vida Fern Harper

Vida Fern Watts Harper, 88, of Dennard, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was born June 12, 1931 in Dennard, Arkansas to the late Grover Cleveland Watts and Grace Agnus Reynolds. Vida was a nurse’s aide, Seventh Day Advents and attended the Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and reading her bible.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dillion Harper and wife Mary of Dennard, Doug Harper and wife Terri of Dennard, Daina Miller of Oxley, Tammy Burlison and husband Mike of Dennard; siblings, Della Rue Crase of Speery, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Vida is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Hayes Harper; son, Tim Harper; siblings, Zene Watts and Galen Watts; one granddaughter, Amber Clancey and two great grandchildren.
Pall Bearers are, Dillion Harper, Doug Harper Mike Burlison, Cody Harper, Joey Bramlett and Daniel Burlison.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. with Services following at 2:00 p.m. at the Dennard Community Church, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 with Brother Kelly Johnson and Brother Tommy Jolly officiating. Burial will be at the Dennard Cemetery.

So Sorry for your loss. I have not seen Vida for a long time. I remember her when we were growing up, she was always so full of life. She and Bill were always welcomed at our house and I loved seeing them come over and enjoyed it when all the kids came too. I know that she will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sorry for your loss. We sure loved Ms Vida. I can hear her singing “What a time in Heaven” and I’m sure she is having the time of her life right now. Heaven has gained an Angel.
