Vilene (Coonie) Borgman, 91, of Clinton passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015. Born November 18, 1923 in Clinton, IA. to the late Jacob and Dolley Robins Newsom, Vilene was the owner and operator of the Whispering Pines RV Park for many years and was of the Southern Baptist faith. In her spare time Vilene loved her animals, crafting, and even taught ceramic classes.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren; Vicky Adkins of Clinton, IA., Buddy Adkins of Nashville, TN., Junior Harring and Tammy Harring of IA. Also surviving is one sister, Irene Wright; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Maurice Borgman,; children Donald Harring and Donna Adkins; siblings Melton Newsom, Violet Weipert, and Jacob "Buck" Newsom.
