Obituary for William Paul Cantrell
William Paul Cantrell, 81, of Mountain View, passed away Saturday June 28, 2014 at his home.
William was born to the late Arthur Wesley and Eva Abney Cantrell on May 3, 1933. At age 17, William enlisted into the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. Before retirement William was a barber and after putting his clippers away, he was very active with the Jimmy Driftwood Barn, singing on the square and the senior center.
William is survived by his son, William P. Cantrell Jr. of Dallas Texas and daughter Donna Cantrell-Russell of Conroe Texas; one brother, James Cantrell and two sisters, Eva Mae Clemments and Sammy Cobb all of California; grandchildren Ryan Russell of Houston Tx and William P. Cantrell III of Plano Tx.
Also surviving him is his friend and caregiver, Helen Gilbert of Mountain View.
Proceeding him in death are his parents and two brothers, Charles and Greg Cantrell.
Memorial services will be held July 21, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Jimmy Driftwood Barn in Mountain View Ar.
