Obituary for Conward Earl "Copus" Bonds
Conward "Copus" Earl Bonds, 71, of Fox, Arkansas, passed away February 2, 2018. He was born November 18, 1946 in Meadow Creek, Arkansas to Clarence and Nadine Branscum Bonds. Copus served in the United States Army during Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Fox Assembly of God, and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish Conward's memory are his wife of 52 years, Myrna Harper Bonds, of Fox; son Randy Bonds and wife Lisa of Fox, granddaughter Sarah Bonds; great-grandchildren Tanner Bonds, Jasmine Henrickson, Saedy Henrickson and Tobias Callahan. He is also survived by sisters Noreen Linville of Fox, Evelyn Clark of Heber Springs, and Debra Kocher of Fox; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Copus was preceded in death by his father Clarence Bonds, mother Nadine Branscum Bonds, son Toby Bonds; granddaughter Rachel Bonds and grandson Ethan Bonds and brother Lawrence Edward Bonds.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Fox Assembly of God from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at Fox Assembly of God at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Stanley Sutterfield, Brother Marvin Sutterfield, and Brother Jerry Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Fox Cemetery, Fox, Arkansas.
Pall Bearers are Randy Bonds, Lance Bonds, Caden Harper, Tim Lay, Tyler Holland, and Bradly Kocher. Honorary Pall Bearers are Tanner Bonds, James Brewer and Chuck Kirby.
