Obituary for Dixie Balentine
Dixie Lea Griffith Balentine, 63, of Timbo, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at her home. Born January 29, 1953 in Orange, TX. to the late George Levert and Mary Kathryn Drost Griffith, Dixie worked as a Support Manager for Walmart before retirement. Dixie also was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain View, loved quilting, gardening, and any kind of arts and crafts.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Balentine, of the home; her children Michael and Kelly Patrick of Timbo; siblings, Sharon Griffith of TImbo, Dusty Griffith of Mountain View; grandchildren Jordon Patrick-Daniels of Newburn, TN., Ryan Patrick of Timbo, Kealy Patrick of Fox, Reed Bradford of Shirley, Fisher Bradford of Clinton, Aron Michael Balentine, Dustin Balentine, Abby Balentine, and Destiny Balentine, all of Flippin; great-grandson Brody Daniels of Newburn, TN.; as well as nieces, nephews, many friends and other family.
Dixie is proceeded in death by her parents, one brother, Rocky Griffith and a grandchild, Kie Bradford.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
