Donna Hall, age 66, quietly went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2013, in Clinton, Arkansas. Donna was born September 16, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Judon and Martha Hawley (Simpkins). She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Michael Hall, son Jeff Hall, and daughter Robin Huggins (Gary), all of Clinton. Also, survived and smitten by her only grandchildren, 14 year old twins Taylor and Tyler Huggins, of Clinton, mother Martha Hawley and brother Michael Hawley of Pangburn, Arkansas. Also, survived by her uncle Jack Simpkins (Tollie) of Marshall, Arkansas. Also, remembering Donna are multiple nieces and nephews from around the United States.
Donna was employed as a retail representative with Crossmark sales and marketing calling on Walmart Supercenters.
Diagnosed and surgically treated in August 2002 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Donna lived eleven years with rare metastatic pancreatic islet cell neuroendocrine cancer. But for the past two months, most her life was full and free of medical complications. She and the family would thank Dr. Keith Coward of Clinton, Dr.Meenakshi Budhraja of Little Rock, Dr. Balan Nair of Little Rock Hematology and Oncology Associates, and the world-class care of the Pancreatic, Neurosurgery and Oncology teams at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. God was gracious and Grammy walked alongside her grandchildren daily for all of their childhood. We were blessed and for that thankful.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, September 2, and Funeral 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, both at First Baptist Church Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery in downtown Clinton.
